No.1 reason: both 10KG and Bs test points will give you a similar Hc and Br, so no need to go a higher field to saturate the material to get the real Hc. but be aware that Hc and Br will be theortically lower when using a lower field point. if hte field is too small, one will get a minor loop, Hc and Br will be drastically lower.
No.2, the applications are not intereted in the higher fields.
