Iam checking pile Suppourted Box Calculations designed in Staad some 9 years back.
It has Fixed but support assigned for piles (with Mz release) & KFy spring constant value.
As per my understanding for Fixed but supourt, if we release something (Fx, Fy, Fz , Mx, My, Mz) we are allowing it to freely rotate or displace/translate in that particular released direction.
So my concern is do we need to release Fy or Mz? (for pile supported)I tried releasing Fy value then I noticed that staad is not allowing me to assign KFy (spring constant)...
