Bounday Conditions for certain length

Hi,

I am doing a FEM analysis using Pro/Mechanica for two steel plates welded together in the shape of an L.

I want to apply a dimensional and rotational constraint/boundary condition to only a certain length along the on the vertical plate surface.

I am only able to choose the entire surface and not a part of it.

How do I do that?

Please let me know asap.
