I am reviewing a set of plans that involve an 8" water line that is being placed under a creek. It is supposed to be bored, not open cut. The thing that is throwing me is that the pipe makes a 90 degree bend directly under the creek. I dont think that is possible with boring, and if it is, I feel it is a bad design...
Is this ok, I am new and figured I would ask here before risking embarrasement since this was deisgned by another engineer at my firm....

There must be some mistake with the plans. You can not change direction 90 Deg with a boring.

Politely inquire to determine if there has been a change in project scope.

Well, you could do a 90 under the creek, it will probably just be incredibly cost-forbidding. There must be an error on the design or you might be reading the drawings wrong.
bimr is right, 'politely' inquire about it...

Yeah, it was definitely wrong, and now I get to change it....super

haha, no, being new here, I come out being a hero on this one and its a simple design project...should make up for something dumb i will do in the future i am sure
