BOM width (SW2005)

Can I lock or specify the width of the BOM-table?

We are using a solid bom-template that we have made
to ourselves. Item no, Art.no, Material and so on.
When using this template to make BOM-lists the width of the BOM-table varies in width. You can adjust it when inserted but should this be necessary?

The BOM table is suposed to adjust automagically to fit the cell contents. Oftentimes it is too big. SW06 has apparently addressed this issue & is supposed to create more compact column widths.
