Can someone please advise me on material selection. The intention is to distil acid wash water consisting of approx 5% isopropanol and approx 5% sulphuric acid. I am currently considering reboiler and column in hastalloy C. The feed tank and recovered isopropanol storage tank also need selecting.

Flouropolymer (Kynar, Halar, or Teflon) lined fiberglass (dual-laminate) can be used for the column, feed tank, and product tanks and would be more economical than Hastelloy. In addition, PTFE internals can be manufactured to hold up to the constituents. Heat transfer becomes a bit of a problem on the reboiler, so I would stick with metallics. I think I can dig up some case histories using dual-laminates in this service.
What's the temp and pressure/vacuum in the column? How big is the column?
