blowdown type gas leak: from a plug in a 1/2 inch port

Hi,

what is a good way to estimate how much gas was released from the following conditions:
1. 0.5" port
2. Initial pressure in the separator 175 psi (don't know if the separate size matters since we're working with the 0.5" plus size, but it's a 36"x10' separator)
3. blew down to atmospheric; so I guess final pressure from the separator 0 psi
4. time it took was about 45 seconds

how much gas in approximately was released.
assume gas is 0.7 specific gravity. all kinds of assumptions welcome.

If the "time" doesn't matter - and, since it went from 175 psig to 0.0 psig! - then "all" the gas that you originally calculate for PV=nRT is gone. (Minus 1x tank volume that stayed inside the tank)
