In Blodgett - Desgin of Weldments (brown book), section 7.6, there are calculated K-factors for determining the tensile force and bending moment in thin cricular rings. How is the K1 value for three (3) forces calculated? Also, how are the K2 values calculated?

Thanks

I have also been using Roark's for my calcs, Table 9.2 #7 (7th ed). The K2 (Kma & Kmb) coefficients are listed for 2, 3, 4, 6 & 12 forces. No others are shown and cannot be interpolated. Furthermore, no K1 coefficients (tensile stress due to normal forces) are listed or used. Can anyone share the equations and/or methodology used to derive these?
