Blocks

Is it possible to create a block in which an attribute defines a demension in that block? For example I would like to make a block consisting of two concentric circles with a user prompted attribute defining the thickness of one of the circles. Is this possible? How would i go about doing this?

Which version of AutoCAD are you using? Newer versions have Dynamic Blocks which may be your ticket.
