When adding an approx 3/8” vent hole to one side of a paddle/slip blind with a 3/8” radial hole connecting to outer perimeter edge of the blind with a 1/2” Or 3/4” NPT connection to install a nipple and valve for hydro test vent/drain purposes on one side of the blind while block the other side (Similar to USA EZ-Vent Product)

:

- How is the thickness of the slip blind (for rated pressure) accounted for by calculation with the hole and port?

- Does the hole need any reinforcement calculation review performed?

- What code section can be used or referenced?
