bitmap to printer

looking for a way of doing the following using compaq visual fortran 6.6 on a win9x platform. would prefer to avoid using winteracter interacter gino realwin. not conversant enough with MFC or API to be able to extrapolate from a code snipet.

want to send a "bmp" file to the default windows printer followed by plain text. what i want to do is put the company logo on the printout. i do not want to see the bitmap on the screen
