A couple of years ago a Canadian company called Nexia Biotechnologies published details of the production of a fibre called 'Biosteel'. This was effectively spider's silk, that was spun from milk from goats, which were genetically modified to be part (if I recall correctly, 1 in 300)spider. I was carrying out an internet search recently to find out the current state of the technology, but there are no recent references and Nexia's website appears to be offline. Does anyone know whether this material is still under development?

I thank you in advance for your assistance.
