Biodegradeable hot glue

We are looking for a hot melt material that can be applied to the face of thin brick or tile and used as a grout release. the glue needs to be water proof, have good tensile properties so you can remove it in one piece and it has to stick to the surface of brick or tile with a minimum amount of adhesion, ie just enough to seal off the surface of the brick and keeping the coating in place until it is powerwashed off.

If may memory serves me right National Starch has some starch based hot melts.

Why do you have to have hot melts as there are several washes normally used for cement that should work.
