I'm seeking a Bistable structure in any material with a height of 1 cm and a length of 4 inches. With the listed measurements, would the structure be able to posses the strength to keep itself straight?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony

A bistable structure with the approximate dimensions you've given would comprise a common saucer, like you put under a teacup. I.e., stable with top face down or bottom face down.

In fired ceramic, they usually have the strength to remain essentially undistorted under the influence of gravity.
