Hi there,
Does anyone have a bevel gear drawn in SolidWorks or know of a website where I could download one from? I am having some problems and would like an example to try and learn from. I would like to be able to define the pitch diameter and number of teeth and have everything else relate to these if that makes sense...
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Try there you can get a 30 day trial of Geartrax. There you can make your Gears with True Involutes.

I used this program for many years. I only made Spur gears, but you can make Bevel gears, Helical gears, and Sprockets. I think there are a couple more in that list, but they evade me at the moment.

Otherwise if you just want the models try the Solidworks Model Library.

Hope that helps, Scott Baugh, CSWP :-)

Scott,
Thanks so much for the ultra-quick reply!
I'll give that a try
