My company is considering a cable net sculpture competition working with a prominent artist. We'd like to model this and get real forces and size connections, etc. We aren't sure of the software that's out there for this type of structure, i.e. what is it, what does it cost, how easy is it to use, how powerful is it? What software have you used and would you recommend? Is there an industry standard? What are the best/most expensive, most reputable, and then what are the alternatives? We have PCs and are in the US, if that matters. Thanks!
