I know Nitrile (NBR) is usually recommended for normal seawater sealing applications. I have a job that will be unserviced for 20 years, at ~2000 psi, 2 degrees C.

Nitrile or EPDM? A few sources tout EPDM as better for seawater but most dont.

and 70 duro or 90 duro?

They are all titanium housings with both face and piston seals.

Any reports or links would be really helpful.

thanks everyone.

20 years is a big ask! Are the piston seals dynamic seals? Have you considered polymer seals to achieve 20years?

Send a sketch so we can see where the seals are located.

You have to consult with the manufacturers. Slight differences in rubber formulation or quality will have major effects on life-span.
