I am a relative newbie using the ABAQUS program and was wondering the best method for obtaining an acceleration output from the centre of mass of a model. At the moment I am having to run the job and find the centre of mass from there before going back to history output from the specified node with limited success.

note. I am modelling a drop test onto an unyielding surface and am expecting a nice deceleration curve.
