BEST Finite Element Books

Hi Everyone,

I would want to get started with FEM modeling and I want to know if you guys can introduce a great source or book which can be helpful. I know that there are a lot of FEM books out there, but I would rather a book which also teaches how to implement the FEM in MATLAB.

The vast majority of books are devoted to general description of the Finite Element Method, but from the practical point of view, they are mostly useless. That is because they don't contain actual, really working codes that you can compile, run, test, etc.
Here is one that is a rare exception; it is provided with a CD-ROM with complete source codes and examples. It is available from amazon.com (there are several reviews as well):
