I need to what is the best practice to calculate the bend allowance for a press brake with different tooling. Help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to _measure_ the bend radius you can actually achieve, with the tooling you intend to use, working the material you intend to work.

Then you can work backwards from the actual bend geometry to find the right parameters for any method you care to use.

do I have to check the bend allowance at different angles too. using the same tooling, material and thickness
