Hi,
We have 6 Beaudrey bandscreens filtering sea water on the cooling water intake to our power station. We are having problems with debris getting past the screens. We have checked all the obvious and not so obvious points:-
- Screen tension
- Side clearances
- Damaged panels
- ete.
Beaudrey have come up with some proposals to fix the problem at a huge cost to ourselves. These proposals include inter panel seals and plates for the top opening of the screen to stop debris falling into the clean side.
Does anyone in the UK or Ireland have Beaudrey screens installed that would be willing to share some infomation about them?
