Can anyone tell me where I can find the bearing allowable for AMS 4640 aluminum nickel bronze? I am trying to analyze a bushing installation in a lug. Thanks

I found that AMS4640 is also known as C63000.

Tensile and yield are listed on Matweb.com and other web sites. I also have it listed in a text as:
Tensile = 90-118KSI
Yield = 50-75 KSI

Sorry, couldn't find anything on bearing.

Bearing is about 1.81 x Fty, and can be as much as 2 x Fty with friction. I suggest you use 1.8 times tensile yield strength. Reference Nadai and Wahl, "Plasticity", and others. Hope this helps.
Regards
