Does any body has a good reference for beams, specially on beam coordinates

For dimensioning schemes, check out Machinery's Handbook.

Roark's Formula's for Stress & Strain provide a lot of information for stress & bending analysis.

I use a couple books from school for mechanical properties. Mechanics of Materials, and Material Science and Engineering.

See About beam orientation in the help files. It will describe the beam action coordinate system (BACS), the beam shape coordinate system (BSCS) and the beam centroidal principal coordinate system (BCPCS).
