Beam to shell coupling

Hi
Has anybody experience with connection 7DOF beam elements (31OS or 32OS) of I section with other section of the same I section but this part modelled with shell elements?
Question mainly concerns the transfer of warping deformations to beam to the adjacent shell based "beam"
