For a beam analysis, what kind of analysis i should make?
Is correct to choose : beam endA/B max comb stress(3164/3166), or i have to choose
beam tension/compression(3168/3169)?

I didn't understand for what is used 3168 and 3169(margins of safety).

Thank you

personally I take loads from the FEM and calc things for myself. To use the FEM calc'd values you have to accurately describe the section. MS depend on the allowables you've given the FEM ... probably using Fcy which may not be appropriate (maybe crippling is the critical allowable ?).

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?
