We do not have a problem with blasting larger parts but small parts are cumbersome. Any tips and tricks for blasting small parts that get bead blast finish? I have been rolling around fixture and jig ideas from every direction but nothing so far would be likely to hold up to the media impacting it.

Could you go the other way of mass finishing in a tumbler - assuming all over finishing.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)

Stringing them on wire can work, requires a through hole of course. May need some kind of bead between each part to keep them separated.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

"They" make metal baskets for this purpose. Shake the little parts around in the basket like you're breading a piece of chicken.

But, your quantities may be too large for a simple handheld basket or your blasting setup might be fully automated...no hands to hold handheld holders.[bigsmile]
