Can anyone identify this battery? It has a metal casing, is only a bit bigger than an AA, and has the writing "-3 091127" on the first line and "L D2 Z" on the second line.

Some more exact dimensions would be of more use. My estimate points to a B cell, but the dimensional estimate isn't precisely matching:

The 091127 is most likely the date code, which would be consistent with a currently dead battery.
