Bates Steel Truss 2

[PMR06]

Does anyone have information regarding steel trusses called "Bates Steel Trusses"? They are some kind of expanded metal truss from the late 1920's, early 1930's. I have found some references in online patent searches, but no usable details or load tables.

Actually, I'm not finding the Bates joists in that PDF. It skips from Truscon to Kalmantruss.

It appears JKW05 contributed that... are you out there still?

PMR06 - Sorry that I did not check the contents of that file closely. I have the 1934 Carnegie Pocket Companion, too, and will add make the correction (adding the Bates info) to the file by tomorrow. Will post here when the correction has been complete.
