Another related question on the theme of "save as" macros:

Anyone know of/have a macro which can go through a file and batch save each configuration as an .stl file?

Thanks!

I downloaded this macro from a site which I can no longer find, so unfortunately cannot give credit to its author. I'm sure it was freeware though so am posting it here. If anyone knows the author, please post here.

You can use it as the first step in splitting out the configs, or you may be able to extend its ability to also "Save as" each config to another format.

CBL,

I found a macro that splits configurations; and it is clearly labelled by the author as Freely Distribute. I'll upload it to my site very soon. Strangely, the original site I got this macro from is also gone.

Here's the macro. It's save routine will need editing to save the files as .stl's instead of .sldprt's, but that's a pretty easy fix, I think (I didn't look at the code in detail).

Thanks Matt & Joe. Ended up modifying ConfigRipper to suit my needs.
