I'm working in Microstation V8 and I am trying to send a batch plot. Everything is fine, except it would plot in landscape. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how have they gotten around it?

Make sure that your printer is set for default. Is your printer set up on the network?. If so, contact your system administrator to give you the network printer name and make sure that it is in your plot driver file. I also have had great success with using print area - Sample plot shape. I use a block around my drawing sheet. There is a good article at - guest writer articles.

good luck

Are you using the "Batch Plot" within MicroStation?
If so, are you using a PLT driver for plotting?
And if so, check the PLT driver.
Make sure the ...

rotate = ccw

And make sure your paper sizes are listed where the BIGGER number is listed 1ST!
Like so!

size=(17.0, 11.0)/num=0/off=(0.0,0.0)/name=11x17
size=(36.0, 24.0)/num=0/off=(0.0,0.0)/name=24x36
size=(44.0, 34.0)/num=1/off=(0.0,0.0)/name=34x44
size=(60.0, 35.0)/num=0/off=(0.0,0.0)/name=60x35
size=(21.0, 15.0)/num=0/off=(0.0,0.0)/name=15x21

Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone, problem solved... it was the ccw that did the trick.
