Basics on Mechanical Seals 1

Dear All,

I need to know as much about mechanical seals by this Friday, December 22, 2006. Does anyone have a reference or article that would help in my learning process? I need to know the basics. I will be going to the engineering library on Monday. However, if someone can point me in the right direction, it would sure be helpful.
