Hey all,
I am relatively new to NX (6-8 months) and am using NX7.
I am looking for a tutorial that could walk me through how to take a set of points and create a surface from them.
I have created a test surface using two splines and through curves and created a set of points equally spaced on it however every time I use point cloud the edges drop off and form a sharp point (ie. does not follow the set of points I created) and when I try to use "through points" NX tells me I don't have enough row/column degrees.
As a second question, if I had points extracted from a sphere, is there any way to recreate said sphere using the points as a starting point? (no pun intended!)
I've looked at the "Create Surface using Splines/Through Points?" topic @ but wasn't able to follow most of what was said after the original post.
Thanks,
Jerry
