Hello-

I'm working on a sample circuit that controls a DC motor and it calls for some 1N514 diodes. These particular diodes are proving extremely hard to find. Does anyone know of a comparable substitute?

Regards-
Eric

Do you know the approx. voltage and current of the motor?

Assuming that this is the diode you have specified:

1N514, SI. GI 300V 1A

Just about any diode with the same PRV and current rating, and physical dimensions (small diode) will work.
