Dear Engineers,
I have a query.We have to construct a semi-basement with 10 storied building.My question is we decide that we have to limit basement height in 9',but if we increase its height then make it 10',then is there any chance of any design mistake?My senior tell me that if basement floor height is 11'+ then they provide inverted beam.My basement floor is piled raft,thickness of raft 15".Please share with me your experience experts.
