Hey guys ,
suppose we would want to model base excitations on NX Nastran response simulation 8.0/8.5 for a single degree of freedom, here how I try to do it

-create two points
-connect the two points using CBUSH
-mesh one point with a 0D point mass
-select (uniaxial option) for 8.0/CBUSH1D for 8.5
-constrain one point to have only one enforced degree of freedom rest are constrained as fixed
-run SOL 103
I am not able to obtain results for some reason , it could that my modeling is wrong , could you roughly describe another way of modeling base excitations , thank you so much

Hello!,
For any DOF not set to Enforced (that is, “free”), you must fix that DOF with another constraint, such as with a User Defined constraint.
Best regards,
Blas.
