Hello,

I am trying to balloon a drawing view for small sub assembly. For one of the parts, I am expecting SW to call out as 2, instead it calls out as *.

How can I fix this.

You can always manually select what you would like your balloon to say. There is a drop down menu under Balloon Settings called Balloon Text. Select Text and a field will open up bellow where you can enter what you would like to be in the ballon.

This does not fix whatever formatting error has occured, but your balloon will say what you want it to.

Hope this helps.

Check this out.
Parts not to be Shown in BOM
1. Open assembly model .sldasm
2. Right Mouse Click (RMC) on part in the feature manager tree or on the part itself in the model.
3. Left Mouse Click (LMC) on Component Properties…
4. You will see a Component Properties dialog box. (You can pick more than one part at a time).
5. Check the box “Exclude from bill of materials” in the lower right corner.

In your case make sure it is not checked.
