Bad points???

Being new to the area of CAD, I'm frequently bombarded with good points about a particular software most of the time. Therefore, I would like to find out any bad points in using Inventor.

One problem that I have with inventor is this: We roll odd shapes with our sheet metal on jigs. In inventor the only way that we can get this shape is to loft it. But when you do this, you can not extract the flat pattern, which we need to send to our burner.
