AWD D1.5- WPS Qualification Question

I am qualifying two production welds. Weld No. 1 is a CJP double-bevel groove meeting B-U5-GF of Fig. 2.4. Weld No. 2 is a PJP square butt weld that does not meet any of the joints in Fig. 2.5. Does the CJP groove weld qualification qualify the PJP groove weld qualification per Par. 5.9.1 or is a separate qualification required for the PJP groove weld as indicated in Par. 5.12?
