.avi & .rar extension files

hai friends!

i would like to know how to play/open .avi & .rar extension files.

i have few video files with me but i couldnt able to open it.

AVI files require the right codec also... you have to know what Codec it is so you can DL it.

winrar is for both .avi & .rar or only for .rar files

The .avi file has been comressed into a .rar folder. WinRar is just like WinZip. Extract the .avi file from rar compression. Then play the avi file using Windows Media Player, or Nero, or Quicktime, or whatever you want. You may need codecs for some avi's or other video files. If this is the case, then codec packages like Nemo's Codec Download usually cover this. Just try and play it in WM10 and see if WM10 can automatically aquire the codec for you. It should.
