Average Cost of Rebar per Ton

I'm estimating the cost of concrete and rebar. I used 125/cf for concrete. I am not sure what the cost of the rebar is. I found 450/ ton upon research. Is this correct?

I suspect it'll depend quite heavily on where in the world you are...

But as a benchmark I just bought steel for a small slab replacement yesterday and these were my rates (Ontario, Canada)

Black reinforcing steel supply: $600 CND / metric ton
Epoxy reinforcing steel supply: $1000 CND / metric ton

Your concrete cost will also depend on what type. I mean, for good C1-35 mPa concrete I pay $160 CND / m3+ admixture charges (round to about $200 / m3 all in). But residential 25 mPa, non-air entrained, will be far cheaper.

Material cost also varies greatly depending on the quantity you buy. With an annual minimum purchase costs come way down.
