I am unable to find the parameter in AC2004 that allows you to turn OFF the autostack within the multiline command....I can do it manually, but it's very tedious.

that is close! I cannot find that properties box...when I right click on the highlighted stacked text, there is no 'properties' to select. (following procedure in help)

Type 3/4 into your box then click on the stack icon button. You should now have the properties option when you right click on your multiline text box.

finally!! thank you!

I think you are looking for the system variable DimFrac. When using architectural or fractional units, setting DimFrac to 0 is horizontal, 1 is diagonal and 2 is not stacked. On the command line type DimFrac and then your choice. You can type DimLUnits and change it to 1 fo r scientific, 2 for decimal, 3 for engineering, 4 for architectural, 5 for fractional and 6 for Windows Desktop default. You can make buttons or simple commands to change them. I use UA to change to Architectural not stacked and UD to change to Decimal.

Thank you IFRs...is there a spreadsheet showing all these commands anywhere? No telling where the book is that came with it 3 years ago :)

DimFrac only changes your stacked numbers in your dimensions, not in your multiline text.
