Automotive Design-RPS and Control Points

I am Design Engineer with 1+ years of experience. I still could not figure out what is the Difference between RPS and Control Points. Could anybody enlighten me?

Well, you also couldn't figure out which forum to post in, and how to write a decent question. I'm guessing RPS=reference point system, in which case you might wander over to the GD&T forum
