I would very much like to have my Abaqus/Explicit jobs export the reqested history outputs as csv or other readable files either during or after the analysis. I don't want to open CAE and export each curve (or set of curves) manually.
It looks like this is a bit easier in Abaqus/Standard. It seems columns of history outputs (specified by nset and output variable) can be appended to the .dat file. I've tried a bit with the .sel and .fil but I don't quite understand why (if) the .sel file must be converted to the .fil file. It gets a bit confusing.
Hopefully, there's something simple I've missed that allows for simple export of the history outputs! Thanks for your time.
