I am working on Computer Aided Fixture Design (CAFD). I am using VBA for AutoCAD to attain this. It will be of immense use to me if someone can tell me the method(s) to extract features from a geometric model.
Hi Sanjivi...
I have extensive knowledge in VBA( Beta Tester R14.00 & R14.01)and would suggest that you give me some details on your basic elements... as a fixture has many mechanical aspects... Can you design a CUBE with a HOLE and SQ.SLOT in it at an exact position... This is a beginning...
I have written a book for SYBEX(approved... not published yet)that has many features that will assist anyone in 3D VBA design... Also Get a copy of AutoCad 2000 VBA from <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> at $31.00w/tax DAM GOOD... BUT not for Specific applications... BUT covers many different applications...
