Autoignition temperature or ignition temperature

Hi-
ASTM standard E 659-78 gives a test method for autoignition temperature of liquid chemicals and says that it can be used for some solids.

Is there a similar standard for gases ? Or is the standard assumed to apply for gases as well?

I did find a reference to a British Standards Institute document for gases:

BS 4056

and these might be related:

DIN 51795 and IEC 79-4

I have not found actual copies of BS 4056 or DIN 51795 and IEC 79-4. So if anyone knows of a link to them, please let me know.
