Is anyone familiar with using Autodesk Civil Design for designing storm sewer systems?

I am trying to use its full capabilities for the first time, and I have some questions.

Right now my largest problem is joining runs - I have a main run down the street, and I want to join in a short run to one catch basin (in order to get the flows contributing to the main run). (I also need to join several runs later on, but an answer to the first one should solve that as well.)

I hope I am making sense. Thanks!! I would appreciate any help I can get since I need to hash out these problems within a day or two.

Kate,

I've used Pipeworks with great success but I haven't had any success using it to do the actuall design. What I do is layout all my pipes and the locations of inlets and manholes and then import that in Haestad Method's StormCad. I do the design in StormCad and then export the pipes back into LDT where I then complete the drafting. My understanding is LDT will size the pipes correctly as long as there is no pressure (i.e. full pipe) flow.

I hope this helps,

Brian
