AutoCAD MEP Object Library

My employer has recently purchased AutoCAD MEP and will be transitioning us to 3D. I've been searching the internet and the forums for a good introduction on how to create an Object Library, but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have advice on how to create and/or setup an Object Library or at least where a good place to start is?
