Yesterday I was modifying a drawing that had multiple viewports. For the life of me I couldn't remember how to jump from one viewport to the next so I went to Help. Two hours later I found that CNTL R would do the jump (a quite intuiative combination of keys). I had entered every synonym I could think of for "viewport navigation", or "jumping between viewports". The answer was buried in a post with a title that I had skipped over 25 times because it just didn't seem to apply.

Has anyone else noticed that the help functionality in AutoCAD has gotten less useful with each release? It seems that AutoDesk has stopped thinking of keywords for specific articles and just allow a search engine to grab words with no consideration of context.

I'm using 2006 and I'm afraid to go to 2007 because of this situation.

Does anyone know of a search strategy that can be used within AutoCAD to improve results? For example, some search engines used to assign a priority to word order and my search might have been more successful as "Viewport jumping between" than "Jumping between viewports". Does anyone know if AutoDesk use any prioritization like this?
