I am researching to see if it is possible to create a "program" in Autocad (currently using Autodesk AutoCAD 2008)to where you can create a basic design, but then input the x y and z values to change that basic design, instead of having to redraw it everytime or copy and paste.

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. If this program idea is not plausible, would a Library be a good idea? Something to just create all of the designs we use and then pick and choose as we need them.

...or for 3D edit the Properties
....or purchase one of the Autodesk verticals that does what you describe.
