Hi all,
I'm not even sure what this behavior is called, so I'm having difficulty searching for answers...
So I'll just ask.

Working in drafting(for example...), lets say you start the "Rapid Dimension" command. You start laying down dimensions all over the place, you're moving, you're zooming.
NOW...
As soon as you dismiss the "rapid dimension" window, the screen abruptly JUMPS back to the initial zoom and pan positions before you started.

Can I stop this behavior? I find it incredibly disorienting to have the screen jump around like that. It's not just in drafting either. There are a few dialogs that behave that way.

Thanks,
JAY

NX 6.0.5.3

It's actually an artifact of how the Drafting people have implemented the 'Undo' command. At one time, all of UG/NX behaved like this where your display changes were included in an Undo operation. Basically, the rest of NX was changed to remove display changes, such as zooms and pans, from the Undo list, however the Drafting decided to keep a modified version of that behavior only it's not part an explicit Undo operation but which is triggered by leaving the dimensioning dialog. I'm not a big fan of this myself so if you want to contact GTAC and open an IR/PR/ER, be my guest.
